What Designers do for Fun: InDesign Music Videos
A rap song about InDesign and professional typography -- yes, that's what I said -- is just the right pick-me-up for hard-working designers.
Our friend Branislav Milic just alerted me to a funny rap music video called “Align to the Baseline: The InDesign Song” that’s up on YouTube:
It’s a Schoolhouse Rock-y song about professional typography — with some priceless, though not-safe-for-work, stanzas. Very funny.
Then our other good friend Martinho da Gloria reminded me of this other great video that’s been up on YouTube for awhile, the one called “InDesign: The Song.” It’s not so much about InDesign as it is about channelling the Flight of the Conchord’s great song, “It’s Business Time.”
The lead singer does an excellent imitation of Jemaine. Pretty cool!
That’s all … just some fun vids for your Friday morning.
