David BlatnerKeymasterYou can force InDesign to cross-render from CMYK to CMYK. It’s been a while since I tried it, though. Hm. See if these two articles help:
See the “Forcing InDesign to Cross-Render the CMYK” here:
and then see:
David BlatnerKeymasterOh yeah, definitely. You need the whole folder. You may need to redownload from the sourceforge link above. It should look like this:

David BlatnerKeymasterAh! Interesting. It looks like it can’t find the common.js file… So, inside the Scripts Panel folder, you should see a calendarWizard folder, right? And inside that folder, there should be a folder called source-files… and inside that there is a folder called common.js.
If you moved the calendarWizard.js file someplace else, then it wouldn’t be able to find those other folders.
Most InDesign scripts are self-contained. But the calendarWizard script is so complicated that it requires a bunch of other files/folders to run.
David BlatnerKeymasterIs there anything more about the error you can share? Does it just say “error 48”? Or is it “error on line 48”? or is there anything else in the error? What else happens?
If you want to share a screen shot, you can put it in dropbox or some other sharing site (imgur, etc.) and share the URL here.
David BlatnerKeymasterHave you tried it with a blank document open?
I just tried it and it’s working… but I am currently running an older OS and ID version.
David BlatnerKeymasterDo you have the most recent version? I don’t know what that version is, but you can find it here: https://calendarwizard.sourceforge.net
David BlatnerKeymasterThis is tricky in PDF. In fact, almost everything interesting/cool is hard to do in interactive PDF these days. I made a sample document and it works well in html, such as in epub or in this publish online document: https://indd.adobe.com/view/0dee8741-79d4-4880-9236-5acb3fa9cc52
I made the object show/hide with this trick: https://creativepro.com/showing-and-hiding-objects-in-interactive-pdf/
The shadow is just an Outer Glow fx feature, with the color changed to black and the blend mode set to Multiply.
David BlatnerKeymasterAre you trying to create this in Adobe InDesign, as an interactive document? or on a web page?
If you’re doing it in InDesign, what is your output? EPUB? Publish Online? PDF? Print?December 13, 2021 at 9:15 am in reply to: Getting rid of a text style that’s used somewhere you can’t find #14351754
David BlatnerKeymasterWOW! Thank you for the entertaining story, Olaf. I know that obsessive feeling well, and the kind of frustration that goes with a mystery like this. I’m so glad you found the solution.
@Petar: That can work, but it can also leave you with paragraphs set to No Paragraph Style. Sometimes that is okay, but it can cause issues later.
David BlatnerKeymasterWell I don’t think “not supported” should mean they can’t activate it. That seems wrong to me. Certainly really frustrating.
I have no idea if this would work, but check out the solutions on these pages:

David BlatnerKeymasterNo, Bridge should not affect this.
Are you sure you’ve selected a graphic which is linked to a file on disk? (That is, when you select it, does something also get selected in the Links panel?)
If that still doesn’t work, you may need to rebuild your preferences. -
