    That is the most Byzantine method of resizing I’ve ever seen. Why not just align the added “o” over the “o” in “Golf” and gradually resize the new text BEFORE creating outlines? Then simply delete the “o”. Or, after creating outlines, just resize the outlined word accordingly (with or without the additional “o” in “Swing”).
