KAPITZA, a new font foundry specialising in dingbat and pictographic fonts, presents it’s new release East End, an image font comprising the silhouettes of people.
East End is a set of 3 fonts depicting life in the East End of London. The 3 fonts show the vide variety of cultural backgrounds of people living and working in this area. All illustrations are based on photographs taken on location over a period of time. The photographs are then hand traced to create outlines.

KAPITZA (https://www.kapitza.com) is a London-based design partnership founded by sisters Nicole and Petra Kapitza in 2004. The foundry, set up in 2006, specialises in dingbat and pictographic fonts. East End is the second font release of the new foundry.
