The $2.99 PhotoValues is a handy store of valuable photographic information for digital photographers. It is compatible with the Apple iPhone or iPod touch and requires iPhone OS 3.1.2 or later.
If you are new to digital photography or want to know more about how to use your Digital SLR (DSLR) camera or compact digital camera or how to explore more adventurous photo taking techniques, then PhotoValues is for you.
Use the simple interface to find useful information from the glossary feature about photographic terms. The glossary is alphabetically organized and has an index so you can easily and quickly find the term you want. If that’s not enough, then use the special How To section to discover valuable guidance on how to take shots in a variety of situations.
Also, there are two exposure tools that will calculate exposures settings for you for Night photography and for Freeze frame to capture sports action. Also included is a short summary of most of the automatic modes on your compact digital or DSLR camera, so you’ll know which modes to use in specific situations. There’s also an ISO to DIN and DIN to ISO convertor and coming in the next release will be an several new features for exposure calculations, bracketing and depth-of-field.
It’s all designed with high-visibility and a black background so you can easily see the information at night, especially useful when taking night shots and you need easily readable help and guidance.
