How-To: 10 Techniques for Copying Pages Between InDesign Documents

There are many reasons why you might want to combine pages or objects from one or more InDesign documents into other InDesign documents.

Perhaps you need to join unchanged pages from an old financial report with the new one; or use a previous design’s page geometry and elements as the template for a new project; or combine individual chapter NDDs into a single “book” that can be output as one long PDF; or… Whatever the case, InDesign has several paths to that end.

    Method 9. Place indd Pages.
    How do I place spreads and not individual pages please? if i have a graphic over a spread, it splits it at gutter.

    The situation could be frustrating and can go a long way to slowing down your system’s speed. What do you do at this time? There is need to delete those unnecessary files.

    I create small infographics of size 10 width or 16 width on A3 size InDesign Document(which we use regularly for newspapers) so that i have enough space for Height of infographics to spread. I need to move this (suppose) 10 width by 15 height Infographics to pagination desk, when i move them, i move this infographic in A3 size Indesign file, How to creat same size (infographics) InDesign document from a larger size indd file with same grid settings faster or how to create PDF of same size(infographics) which is in a large A3 indd file.
