Current Job Opportunities

We are currently looking to fill the following position:

Content Manager

The candidate for this position will lead the programming process for educational online and live events, publishing, and training programs — including researching, acquiring, and managing the talent and designing and curating programs, agendas, and content.

We’re looking for someone who can jump in fearlessly and design high quality, creative agendas and content; can successfully work on simultaneous projects; will complete deliverables on time; is adaptable and calm in high stress situations and has a deep understanding of the world of creative professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the CPN team and the worldwide community of creatives to create educational events, articles, and training
  • Solicit, negotiate, contract, and manage event speakers, authors, trainers, and other subject matter experts

Desired Attributes/Experiences

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Project management experience
  • Motivated, organized, detail- and results-oriented
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Passion for networking and the ability to cultivate relationships
  • Good problem-solving skills with ability to creatively negotiate demands
  • Ability to travel to live events, when possible
  • Would be awesome to have:
    • Experience with content programming and talent acquisition
    • Background in the graphic design space
    • Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and other Creative Cloud apps
    • Experience with building Cvent registration sites
    • Knowledge of Excel, Google Docs/Sheets, Airtable, ClickUp (or similar project management software), WordPress

Starting position is part time contract (may transition to full time within a year); salary commensurate with experience.


Professional ‘Noodge’*

The candidate for this position loves keeping projects, documents, and people organized, and has no problem patiently reminding people six times if that’s what it takes to get the job done.

We’re looking for someone who can manage professional relationships with key stakeholders; work remotely; successfully coordinate simultaneous projects, while completing projects on schedule; is adaptable and calm in high-stress, tight deadline situations and patient in the face of changing priorities

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract and manage event speakers, authors, trainers, and other subject matter experts.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support to help manage our speakers, writers, and other partners — including collecting contracts, video files, and other material submissions.
  • Ensure database, spreadsheets, team members, and documents are up to date.

Desired Attributes/Experiences

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Project management skills
  • Motivated, organized, detail- and results-oriented
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • A ‘people person’
  • Ability to travel a couple times per year for work, as needed
  • Would be awesome to have:
    • Background in the graphic design space
    • Experience with building Cvent registration sites
    • Knowledge of Excel, Google Docs/Sheets, Airtable, WordPress

Starting position may be part-time or full-time contract; salary commensurate with experience.

*What's a Noodge? The word is from Yiddish and is hard to describe, except like this: If you're too much of a noodge ("nudzh") then you're a whiny nag (no one needs that); too little, and you're a passive wallflower. But a noodge who knows how to balance between the extremes is someone who can get things done!
