It is a thin space (Cmd-alt-shift M) with a French keyboard. We use it before the question mark, exclamation mark and semicolon
Jean-Marc LévyParticipantDoes the new OpenType adornment work with a French version? I just installed it and created a new document and it does not seem to work. However, the preference (Type > Advanced) is correct.
Jean-Marc LévyParticipantHi,
Did you find a solution? I need to do exactly the same.
Jean-Marc LévyParticipantJust sent you a mail. I am afraid that you won't find a crossword generator allowing to export datas to be imported in InDesign: I spent much time to find that, without any success, but if you find it, tell me!

Oui Jean-Marc! I'd like to have a PDF with all the menus in French.
I'm putting together a custom menu with Adobe Configurator for our French newspaper. That's why I need the french terms.
Thanks
P.S. Is there a French crossword puzzle & chess generator online? I'd like to use it and import the data to InDesign.
I can't see any way to attach a PDF file. Just tell me where I can send it to you.
What about the crosword generator? What do you mean by “import the data to inDesign”. You need to get an editable file? A PDF file?
Jean-Marc LévyParticipantIf it can help, I can provide you a PDF with all the menus in French. And do not hesitate if you need a translation for specific terms.
Jean-Marc LévyParticipantThanks for your answer, but it does not solve the problem.
Yes, I am sure that the frames are not threaded, ans since I work in the IT team of a magazine and my job is to advice the users and set up the templates, I cannot simply “un-number” the list. I need to find a better solution. I read all the help files, looked for this issue in the Adobe forum, but I could not find anything relevant.
As I wrote, my numbering sequence works perfectly, but we need to be able to have, for instance, #1 et #2 on the left page of the spread, then #3 and #4 on the right page, then #5 and following back again on the left page.
Jean-Marc LévyParticipantSorry for my bad english. When I wrote the topic name “through a spread”, I meant “across”
Jean-Marc LévyParticipantHarbs gave me the solution on the Adobe forum.
