David BlatnerKeymasterHere’s how to install a script in InDesign: https://creativepro.com/how-to-install-scripts-in-indesign.php
However, if I’m not mistaken, isn’t that an Acrobat script? That is a different beast entirely. I’m sure id-extras has installation instructions.
David BlatnerKeymasterYup, this is a known limitation in InDesign. See this third-party commercial script:
(If you buy it, tell them InDesignSecrets sent you.) :-)
David BlatnerKeymasterCool idea. But I don’t know any way to do this. You’d have to find a scripter to do it.
David BlatnerKeymasterPaul: Take a look at Peter Kahrel’s article on \K in this issue of InDesign Magazine: https://creativepro.com/issues/issue-73-food-issue
David BlatnerKeymasterI don’t have a direct answer, but here are some articles that might help:
https://creativepro.com/figure-numbering-in-indesign-and-cross-references-to-them.php
https://creativepro.com/setting-up-numbered-lists-that-jump-frames-in-cs3.phpAnother forum thread on this:
David BlatnerKeymasterI would take a look at: printUI.com, siliconpublishing.com, http://www.rorohiko.com. These people and other developers will be at the Creative Developers Summit in Philadelphia. It would be very beneficial for all developers and people in need of working with devs to be there:

David BlatnerKeymasterHere are two articles about using liquid layouts in InDesign:
David BlatnerKeymasterYou just want to make the TM symbol superscripted? That should be very possible. See this article for a bit of help
https://creativepro.com/5-cool-things-you-can-do-with-grep-styles.php
David BlatnerKeymasterI don’t think you can. Interesting idea. You use color labels that much? I’m sure it would be an easy script.

David BlatnerKeymasterYou can put the same document into different book panels, and renumber them separately, I believe. You would just have to use the book panel to renumber the documents before you print or export PDF.
David BlatnerKeymasterPerhaps you turned on View > Proof Colors ?
David BlatnerKeymasterNo worries. Yes, in general put things that show up on all pages on the master page (such as logos, or page numbers). Text and graphics and anything that changes from page to page should be on the document page. If you figure out what the problem is, come back and let us know. Wacky…
David BlatnerKeymasterThat is officially a truly weird problem.
Do you see the curly bracket on screen? I don’t see it when I open your INDD file. So it occurs to me that maybe it’s a font on your system. (That still doesn’t really make sense, but I’m stretching here.)
The other thing that doesn’t make sense to me is why this information is on the master page of the document, instead of the document page.
David BlatnerKeymasterThat is not how next/previous object works. However, it IS how this works:
https://creativepro.com/navigate-through-indesign-page-objects-with-keyboard-shortcuts.php(I don’t know if those scripts still work, as I haven’t tried them in a long time. But let us know if it works!)
