David BlatnerKeymasterI’m going to push back on the file format a little… In general it is best to save Photoshop duotones as PSD files (if you are going to be printing or exporting PDFs from InDesign)
But you do need to get clear about whether your printer is printing with a spot color or just CMYK (process) colors.
David BlatnerKeymasterWeird! If the hyperlinks worked when you imported them, I can’t think of what would have messed them up. I doubt there is an easy way to fix them, other than one at a time.
David BlatnerKeymasterLOL!
David BlatnerKeymasterYes, you can do that… at least for some features:

David BlatnerKeymasterColleen is right!
Some more info here:

David BlatnerKeymasterOh, what you’re describing sounds a bit like this:

David BlatnerKeymasterYes, that could absolutely be the problem. I discuss color management issues exactly like this in my course on InDesign color management at Lynda.com.
You can use Edit > Convert to Profile in Photoshop to see what RGB profile was assigned to the image. (Then click Cancel, because you probably don’t want to use that feature other than just getting that information.)
David BlatnerKeymasterThere are so many things that could be different or wrong.
But the first thing that comes to my mind is that you are exporting as JPEG. Colors often change in jpeg as part of the compression process. Can you try an 8-bit PNG?
David BlatnerKeymasterThat is very strange. It should not work like that. Are you holding down the Option/Alt key when dragging that corner point? If so, then you are making a duplicate of the object when you drag.
David BlatnerKeymasterAnother thought: Have you tried pressing Shift-F5 or Command-Option-/ (slash) when it happens? Those can force ID to redraw the screen or recompose text stories.
David BlatnerKeymasterIf I understand correctly, this feature should help:

David BlatnerKeymasterAndrew, in the General pane of the Preferences (cmd/ctrl-K), check out the “Include Effects” checkbox in the “When Scaling” section. Does it change anything for you if you turn that off?
