    I’m having an issue with anchored images with a text wrap.
    I have a book that has different sections, each marked by a different color text and a sqaure icon that is the height of 3 lines of text. The icon is placed inside the paragraph as an anchored object and has a text wrap on it on the right side for some breathing room around the icon.

    Some paragraphs are just fine.
    In other paragraphs, the second line or the second and third line suddenly indent.
    I can’t figure out any pattern as to why this happens or doesn’t happen.

    Are all the paragraphs using the same paragraph style? Any nested styles, GREP styles, local overrides etc., that might be applying different text formatting?

    This book has a ton of styles, but if I understood your question correctly, there are instances where the style works fine and instances it doesn’t.
    No nested style, GREP style or override.

    Anyone…? The book needs to go to print and I am really stuck!

    Alternatively, if you have an easy work around, please advise!

    I’m guessing the problem is that text wrap around anchored objects ONLY affects lines AFTER the line in which it is anchored.
    If you need it to affect the first line, too, then anchor it in the previous paragraph.

    Thanks for the link David.

    The previous paragraph got complicated, but I read through the comments on that post and the solution for me seems to be to add a drop cap to the par style with the number of lines the icon is tall. I am making the dropcap 2 charachters and adding a space after the icon rather than using a text wrap.

    I’d still love to know what the problem was! But at least this solution seems to be working.
