Hi,
I’m magazine designer, and sometimes article just takes more than one spread, so I need to put some indicator that the article is continuing on the next page(s). I need some sort of “Jump line”.
Here is the link with screenshots from different magazines that uses that “jump line arrow effect” I’m looking for – https://www.evernote.com/shard/s217/sh/5682f058-9799-4e12-a85f-d19fbcaaa081/cccc86e31c2fb92642a76205cd2ba032
For now I’m putting this arrows manually, and this is annoying.. So I’m wondering if there is a way to make this automatically with script? I want that this arrow to appears only once per page, and goes after the last story character on the spread – maybe just paste nonbreaking space between last story symbol and arrow, or make this with anchor object..
I have found script that makes something similar to what I need, called “PleaseContinue” – here is the link: https://www.jongware.com/binaries/pleasecontinue.zip, but this script create jump link for each page (so I get 4 jumps per spread), and it’s create new text frame with text wrap and text “continue reading on %page number%” and “continue reading from %page number%” – so, maybe this plugin can be somehow modified to feet my needs, I just don’t know how… can anybody help me with that?
