      Hello,
I use Indesign for a long time, so I am no beginner.
      I have CS6.
In the format options of my paragraph format for a header I go to Font color where I choose the color I want. It works in other cases. However, this time I chose html blue (= RGB: 0,0,255).
The color does not take. Indesign arbitrarily changes it to RGB: 60,36,131, after a few seconds. By hitting Alt and clicking the format it should undo all changes and redo the format. After the second time doing this it takes Indesign only half a second to change the color from blue to almost violet again.
Other headers of a different order have other colors where I do not have such problems.

What is going on here? Does some hidden hyperlink activity become active?

      Thank you for a hint.
      Andreas

Where are you changing the color? In the paragraph styles dialog box?

If you are using RGB colors, you might need to use Edit > Transparency Blend Space > RGB
