How can I integrate paragraph composer settings into a paragraph style?

      Hi again,

in my last post I asked about a problem related to Farsi text. Written Farsi (Persian) looks almost like Arabic and is written from right to left too.

After importing/placing a Farsi document I had the problem that all letters formerly linked to each other got broken up and displayed in their isolated (= wrong) form.

I now found out that after choosing the paragraph setting “Adobe paragraph composer for different languages” the text gets immediately fixed!

This is basically the solution to my problem, but I cannot figure out how to choose “Adobe paragraph composer for different languages” when creating a paragraph style. When creating a paragraph style, “Adobe paragraph composer” (i.e. NOT for different languages) seems to be the default, and when I mark the text and choose “Adobe paragraph composer for different languages” (in the paragraph window, NOT in the paragraph *style* windows), the paragraph style gets the “+” sign to indicate the override.

So, how can a new paragraph style be set directly to “Adobe paragraph composer for different languages” ??

Seems I just found the solution or at least one method, so I am sharing it here just in case someone else runs into the same problem.

I marked the text, chose “Adobe paragraph composer for different languages” and AFTER doing so I created a new paragraph style. The new paragraph style automatically adopted that paragraph composer setting.

Thanks for documenting the fix. I’m sure it will come in handy for someone in the future.
