  1. Read the post recommended for the bar code maker in design. Sometimes need to convert barcodes in reports solution into PDF. And it is easy to insert bar codes in PDF now.

@Michael: I installed it here, but I can’t get it to show more than the first page of the ID file, even if I’ve set ID to create previews of more pages (2, 5, 10, or all). Is that to be expected?

  3. >Is there a script to save pages (Indesign cs5) to create new Indesign file?
    PageExtractor? (https://www.loicaigon.com/en/auto.php)

  4. Excellent list.

Is there a script to save pages (Indesign cs5) to create new Indesign file?

I need these files to use in an EPUB workflow.

rohan, many thanks! I’ve updated it now to do add-on barcodes as well.

  6. Skilldrick, I love the barcode reader. Just wanted you to know that at least one person finds it incredibly useful. Thanks.

Thanks for mentioning my barcode maker! It’s very basic, but I hope some people can find some use of it.

Thanks David, for mentioning the little QuickLook tip from my blog! Well as for how it works, it works like a charm! Only “downside” to it, if you’re looking at InDesign files which haven’t been saved with a preview (or a small preview) it’s hard to see the content. So it depends a little bit on your InDesign preferences for the best result. Best feature of it all: it’s free. SneakPeek Pro ($19,95) adds same for AI (and other) files but it also requires your InDesign previews created from the application. It also gives you the info about used fonts, images and colors and gives you multiple pages preview. So there it is, done all the work for ya ;-)
