Hi, I can’t find any professional documentations about QR-codes with Data Merge in InDesign. A new client would do this with several hundreds different name. For me the problem is that it should be V-Cards. Can’t find even no docu about the Java Script “AddQRCode.jsx”. Does anyone have great references to share?

    Kind regards
    Paul

  • Thank you for featuring two of my scripts in this month’s round-up.

Just an update about the wall-planner script – I have figured out the issues that were holding the script back, and the script is now available from my downloads page. It’s a free script that I’m making available to the public. I will be releasing a paid pro-version with additional features, but at a later date.

So far as the “preflight enforcer” script – there are a couple of reasons that I’ve made this “by request” but none of those reasons involve money – this is a free script. However, the script is a lot of work and before I invest too much time in its development, I wanted to see how much demand there was for a script like this. Ultimately, I’d like preflight to be a much larger feature of InDesign so that when exporting a PDF or printing a document, there’s a “traffic-light” style warning in the appropriate dialog, or at least treat preflight more seriously in a way that Circular Software’s Greenlight does.

Not long until New Orleans now!

I searched on ‘preflight’ at indesign.uservoice.com; there were few results. I suspect that many people find preflight as currently implemented in ID overwhelming.
