Tenth Annual AIGA San Diego "Y" Design Conference

The 10th Annual AIGA San Diego’s “Y” Design National Conference, the premier West Coast design conference for creative professionals, will take place April 1 and 2, 2005 at the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice on the campus of the University of San Diego and will include 10 nationally and internationally acclaimed multi-disciplinary designers, illustrators, commentators and authors as guest speakers, favorite “Thinkshops” (a series of workshops lead by prominent professionals in the creative and related fields) along with a tradeshow, book sale, and silent auction. Conference attendees will also enjoy a partial display of the finalists of a retrospective design competition for California design entitled “Grown in California”.
Noted speakers and Thinkshop presenters participating in the conference include: Michael Vanderbyl, Eric Tilford, Art Chantry, Armin Vit, Luba Lukova, Erik van Blokland, Ze Frank, Gaby Brink, Karen Hsu, Alice Chung, Vanessa Marzaroli, Tom Koh, Nina Eigerman, Terry Marks, Doyald Young, Henry Devries, Randall Cornish, Dave Pauley, Michael Osborne, Larry Pyle, Petar Perisic, and Charles Glaubitz.
