Start Planning for the AIGA Design Conference
Every two years, AIGA, the professional association for design, holds a gathering of the design community to celebrate design excellence, reinforce friendships and connections and stimulate thinking about the critical issues that surround design practice.
The next biennial design conference will be in Phoenix, Arizona, from October 13 to 16, 2011. Get the best rate for this event – register by June 8. Rates begin at $300 and go as high as $900 for attendees who aren’t AIGA members.
What to expect
Curious to know what the event is like? More than 1,200 design professionals, educators and students from across the country gathered for AIGA’s last biennial design conference, “Make/Think,” which took place in Memphis in 2009. Experience a selection of the 2009 presentations featuring David Butler, Roger Martin, Stefan Sagmeister and more.
As speakers and programming for the 2011 event are confirmed, information will be posted here and updates will be sent to attendees by email.
What’s included
Your conference registration includes admission to all main-stage sessions, breakout sessions, the Student Symposium, the trade show and all evening events. Pre- and post-conference events may require separate, additional fees; details will be available in spring 2011.
