Bohemian Coding is proud to announce the release of SketchPad 1.0, a powerful vector drawing application for the iPad. While we’re just getting started, SketchPad already includes some powerful tools such as a great vector and pen tools and boolean operations. SketchPad is available for only $5.99 in the App Store.
Sketchpad’s vector tool lets you create any shape imaginable and for more basic usage, Sketchpad also includes ready-to-use shapes such as rectangles, ovals and stars. Boolean operations on these shapes can create even more more complex ones or you can expand from these basic shapes in your own way. Sketchpad also supports text layers and these can be styled with different fonts.
For making layers look exactly the way you want, Sketchpad supports stroke, fill, multi-stop gradients and drop and inner shadows. These are indispensable tools in your arsenal and you can control them right with your fingers in a most intuitive way. Bohemian Coding also sells DrawIt, Fontcase, which won an ADA at last years WWDC, and Sketch, an upcoming vector application for the Mac that will be 100% compatible with Sketchpad for iPad.
