Ricoh Corporation Introduces the Aficio CL3500N

Ricoh Corporation, the leading provider of digital office equipment, today introduced the Aficio CL3500N, a powerful color laser printer designed for small offices and workgroups. The Aficio CL3500N incorporates fast, quality color at a budget-conscious price.
Speed can often be comprised with a lower price. The Aficio CL3500N is an exception as it meets all of the users’ performance and value needs, delivering more value at 22 pages per minute (ppm) for both full-color and monochrome printing. This device is significantly faster than similarly priced printers, while printers with comparable speeds and capabilities are larger and more expensive.
To further enhance its performance, the Aficio CL3500N incorporates flexible paper handling and with a standard 530-sheet paper tray and additional one or two sheet trays of the same capacity, the paper supply can be raised to a maximum of 1690 sheets. Optional duplex printing at almost 100% of simplex speed also maximizes productivity. Additionally, versatile connectivity and controller options are made possible by Genuine Adobe PostScript3, PCL 5c, PCL 6, RPCS, and PDF Direct Print PDLs and bundled Ricoh utilities including Web Image Monitor, SmartDeviceMonitor, and Web SmartDeviceMonitor.

Understanding the critical role security plays in our world today, the Aficio CL3500N supports the optional Network Data Protection Unit for password and/or encryption in order to keep data safe and secure. The CL3500N allows for 100 user accounts to access and closely monitor printer use. With the addition of a user account enhance kit, this can be expanded to 400 users with all other users being denied printer access. Also, the Aficio CL3500N is technologically advanced incorporating optional embedded software architecture (SDK) that enables programmers to write and install customized Java-based applications inside the printer to match unique workflows and printing requirements.
Additionally, to further increase functionality and versatility, the IS200 Image Scanner can be added to the Aficio CL3500N. The IS200 allows users to take advantage of electronic document distribution with Scan-to-Email, Scan- to-Folder, and Scan-to-Print capabilities. High resolution color images can be captured for editing or placement into new digital documents that can be easily shared without distribution costs.
