Ok I stuggled with this aswell.

I was trying to generate qr code with Data merge following those guides:

In the guides the code for generating QR started with “BEGIN:VCARDVERSION:2.1\”

What fixed it for me was to change it to “BEGIN:VCARDVERSION:3.0\”

And now if works fine on both IOS and Android.

It might be a workaround cause the default tool for generating QR-codes in indesign is not working for me.
