If you follow Quark or digital publishing, you may want to attend a free online event being held Wednesday, February 23, 2011. Quark says the event will focus on the “exciting ways Quark will help designers, publishers, and large organizations harness the possibilities of Digital Publishing 2.0.”

Just last month, the company released technology that lets you publish to the iPad using Quark Publishing System and QuarkXPress 8.5. According to a Digital Publishing 2.0 Roadmap that Quark itself released in 2010, the announcements on February 23 will continue in that direction and pertain to QuarkXPress, Quark Publishing System, and Quark XML author.
