Pump Up Your Creativity with Paper Punk
Paper Punk is a new product from Grace Hawthorne, the co-founder of ReadyMade magazine. It comes as flat pieces of paper that have been printed on, and you cut and fold the paper into blocks that form robots, a car, or a dog.
It may sound like a simple idea, but Paper Punk just raised $20,000 on Kickstarter, so plenty of investors see its promise. And this creativity tool is visually appealing. Here are the kits that will ship this fall:

Each kit will cost $18.95, and that price will include shipping within the United States. Hawthorne plans to extend Paper Punk with sets of shapes that can be joined in any way; free, downloadable blocks; and an oversized, sturdier version for less adept hands.
For designers, Paper Punk could be more than a toy. When I first saw them, I immediately thought “marketing piece!” Consider the potential audience engagement: Not only would certain audiences spend time cutting and assembling the printed piece, but they’d be more likely to keep the blocks around, seeing your message again and again.
How could you adapt the Paper Punk concept to your projects?
