There is a guide on adobe site to revert shape engine to old one. why Raphaël Freeman did not do it.

Yes, I am a Farsi-arabic user and I mentions it here: https://twitter.com/SydCavendish/status/1713892371786551684 so why adobe didn’t set a warning box, when we open indesign 18 file and we may see some shaping changes like this warning of illustrator: This text was created in different version of illustrator… https://i.postimg.cc/J4W87FvQ/Screenshot-2024-03-03-172648.png
That sounds very frustrating! I don’t know why Adobe did not give people more warning.
