The April/May issue of InDesign Magazine, which shipped yesterday, covers virtually all of InDesign CS3’s new features. Not only that, but many of its articles were written by InDesignSecrets contributors! Our very own Michael (“The InDesigner”) Murphy wrote a great feature article describing the big new features of CS3, and I followed that up with a second feature article on all the “little things” that make CS3 oh-so-nice.
Anne-Marie Concepción and Pariah Burke wrote a terrific piece on some of the sexy Photoshop-like transparency effects, and Sandee Cohen wrote an amazing piece on why you shouldn’t be scared of the new GREP find/change features. And, of course, the whole magazine was designed by our newest contributor Rufus Deuchler.
There’s also cool articles by Diane Burns (on the Pathfinder features you already have in CS1 and CS2), a nice write up of how one high school is laying out their yearbook in InDesign by our friend Russell Viers, and an interview of Chad Siegel (Senior Product Manager for InDesign CS3) by some random guy. (Okay, that was one of my articles, too.) Plus reviews, cool product news, and all kinds of other stuff.
But the best part is that InDesign Magazine (which is a PDF eMagazine) is still offering InDesignSecrets readers their special discount subscription deal!
I hope you enjoy the issue!
