InDesign and InCopy 16.3 Updates are Now Available Worldwide

Nearly a month after their rollout began, the 16.3 updates for InDesign and InCopy are now available to all users worldwide.

Initially released in parts of Europe, Asia, and Australia on June 14th, the 16.3 rollout was paused when users experienced problems with the applications crashing.

There is some potential for version number confusion. For Mac users, the newest version of InDesign is now 16.3.2, InCopy is 16.3.1. The newest version of both programs for Windows is 16.3.

You may need choose Help > Check for Updates in the Creative Cloud app to see and install the updates for InDesign and InCopy.

These updates include bug fixes related to freezes and crashes, hyperlinks, screen redraw failures, and several problems with fonts. They run natively on Macs with Apple’s M1 chip. There are no new features in either program.
