How to Fix Shared Hyperlinks in InDesign
Find out how to fix—or better yet, avoid—any issues with InDesign's shared destination hyperlinks. They're on by default but can cause some annoying issues.

In my experience, using shared hyperlinks in any situation is a bad idea. I don’t know how many times I have opened a document where the hyperlinks are all fine, and the next time I open it, half of them are all broken. Nice idea if it worked properly.
