GLUON ColorBreaker for InDesign CS4
GLUON® Inc., a leading provider of productivity enhancement for the graphic arts and publishing industries, announced release of ColorBreaker ID for InDesign CS4, an important quality control plug-in in a growing suite of GLUON tools for the InDesign community.
ColorBreaker was invented by GLUON in the mid-1990s to make the tedious work of marking up a document for color usage for printers an automated process. ColorBreaker ID uses SmartTag™ technology, which optimizes the number of tags by combining callout arrows. Also, when a tag is moved, the arrows automatically reattach themselves to the tag, making it easy to tweak the result of the automated process.
“GLUON is delighted to increase and enhance our line of InDesign plug-ins and leverage our years of experience in the desktop publishing field. ColorBreaker has always been one of my favorites and often elicits the response ‘Where have you been all my life’ to designers who are used to doing this manually,” said Peter McClard, CTO of GLUON.
