Eovia Ships TransPoser 2 Plug-in

Eovia™, developer and publisher of leading 3D animation, modeling and rendering software, today introduces the Eovia TransPoser™ 2 plug-in. TransPoser 2 allows users to import Poser® v5 and v4 characters and animations into Eovia Carrara™ 4 software, where they can be integrated in more complex scenes and brought to life with brilliant results. In addition to improved workflow, this new version includes Poser files into the Carrara 4 network rendering. Through special arrangement with DAZ Productions, TransPoser 2 comes with the Victoria 3.0 and Michael 3.0 models.
Dynamic hair rendering, a new feature in TransPoser 2, enables users to import the Poser 5 dynamic hair with its animation and render it with anisotropic lighting and accurate self-shadowing. Workflow improvements include a scene update button, allowing users to update a Poser character from within the Carrara 4 application with just one click. Additionally, TransPoser 2 takes advantage of the distributed network rendering capabilities of Carrara 4 Pro to render Poser figures on a network for even faster results. Additional features are listed at the Eovia website, www.eovia.com.
“We are very pleased to bring this new release of the TransPoser plug-in to the market,” said Bob Stockwell, Eovia’s Director of Sales and Marketing. “With TransPoser 2, we have addressed feature requests from our users and built on the strengths of both of these 3D products to offer exceptional interchange capabilities and new time-saving benefits.”
The TransPoser 2 plug-in is compatible with Carrara 4 Standard and Pro versions and is available immediately as an electronic download through the Eovia webstore (www.eovia.com/purchase/webstore.asp). TransPoser 2 is priced at $129 for a full version, and $39 for upgrades.
