Photoshop offers a ton of blend modes, 617 to be exact. Just kidding. There’s “only” 27. Still, any time you have to navigate a menu with 27 choices, it behooves you to learn some keyboard shortcuts make your choices faster.

Each of the 27 blend modes has its own keyboard shortcut, but it’s probably not worth the braincells to learn them all, unless you’re trying to win a Photoshop trivia contest.
Instead, just learn the few most important ones:
Normal: Shift+Option+N (Mac); Shift+Alt+N (Win)
Screen: Shift+Option+S (Mac); Shift+Alt+S (Win)
Multiply: Shift+Option+M (Mac); Shift+Alt+M (Win)
Then add some of the others you might actually use on a consistent basis, like:
Overlay: Shift+Option+O (Mac); Shift+Alt+O (Win)
Hue: Shift+Option+U (Mac); Shift+Alt+U (Win)
Saturation: Shift+Option+T (Mac); Shift+Alt+T (Win)
Color: Shift+Option+C (Mac); Shift+Alt+C (Win)
Luminosity: Shift+Option+Y (Mac); Shift+Alt+Y (Win)
And you can cycle through all the blend modes with the following shortcuts:
Next blend mode: Shift+Option+plus; (Mac) Shift+Alt+plus (Win)
Previous blend mode: Shift+Option+minus; (Mac) Shift+Alt+minus (Win)
