CreativePro Introduces CreativePro Conversations

CreativePro is excited to announce a new video series called CreativePro Conversations. At their core, these conversations are informal discussions among peers, some taken from interviews conducted at our past events and others specifically recorded for this series. All will involve interviewing folks across a spectrum of the creative community by other creative pros. Regardless of format, they will talk about what they do, challenges they face, what it means to be a creative, as well as discuss techniques and experiences that have shaped their creative path.

In one of the premiere episodes, I had the chance to chat with David Blatner about the changing face of one of our cherished publications. As many of you know, InDesign Magazine has recently morphed into the all-new CreativePro Magazine. In our conversation, David talks about this shift and how it will benefit our entire creative community by offering a wider range of topics and bringing in more diverse voices. I also made sure to represent “Team InDesign” and asked him tell us everything will be okay for us InDesign users. (HINT: It’s going to be great!)

Other conversations currently available include Mark Heaps’ chat with illustrator extraordinaire Orlando Arocena and David’s interview with type designer Charles Nix. CreativePro Conversations will be released monthly and can be found on the CreativePro YouTube channel, curated as a playlist.
