Create Color Font Graphics with FontLab Pad
The world of fonts is getting more colorful all the time. Last year, major players like Adobe, Apple, Google, Microsoft, and Mozilla added support for multi-color fonts in some of their products, including the newest versions of Firefox, Safari, IE 11, and other apps running in Windows 8.1 and Mac OS X 10.7+.
Now, the folks at FontLab have released a free application that allows you to easily style text with multi-color fonts and export it in PNG, PDF, SVG format.
The app is called FontLab Pad and you can download it for free along with the color font Ringo Blingo. FontLab promises more free color fonts are on the way, too.
You can also use FontLab Pad to create text graphics with your other fonts too, since it also supports monochrome fonts in virtually any format.
