Bergsland Typography Releases New Font Families
The Amitale (pronounced Ah-mi-tah’-lay) families are made up of eight new text fonts that are effortlessly readable and graceful. Originally built on a proof of what was labelled as an 18th Bible font called Minister, this new OpenType Pro family has been expanded to have Caps, lowercase, small caps, and figures to go with each of those character sets 123 456 789. There are many ligatures, a few swashes, fractions, numerators, denominators, and ordinals to infinity. This stylish beauty also works very well for display use.
The fonts are available (or will be shortly) through MyFonts and Fonts.com in TrueType and PostScript for Mac and PC, plus a 650 character OpenType Pro. Reduced introductory pricing is available at https://bergsland.org.
