Steve Laskevitch

About

Steve Laskevitch is a certified instructor, teaching Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, and InDesign (and more). He taught physics for a time in the twentieth century, when he became enamored with teaching, computer graphics, design, and photography. He has spent the 21st century both teaching and doing desktop publishing, founding Luminous Works Training in 2003. He has built production workflows for many companies and helped Adobe prepare its certification exams. For over four years, Steve led Seattle’s InDesign User Group (the first in the United States, despite what the New York group claims). He created the Course & Compendium series of books, published by Rocky Nook and widely used by colleges and universities.

Steve is obsessed with New Haven-style pizza, well-crafted books, and the film Casablanca. Don’t get him started.
