Adobe MAX Signals Start of the Conference Season

Adobe MAX is a doozy of a conference—the big one we all aspire to attend. Someday. This 4-day event being held in L.A. October 4th–8th features more than 60 speakers giving sessions from graphic design and digital publishing to video, photography, and creative imaging . If that scope isn’t enough to convince you that this is the year to go, I have three words for you: Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Maybe that’s three words, but either way, he will be co-hosting MAX Sneaks. This session has a talk show/infomercial/movie premiere vibe that showcases what’s been brewing in the Adobe Labs.

Adobe also extended the early bird pricing of $1,295 to August 31st, which is REALLY soon. It’s not an inexpensive show, so that $200 savings certainly helps. Did I mention there’s also a concert? Yep! This year, GRAMMY-award winning Kings of Leon will be gracing the stage at the MAX Bash event. Musical performances at events like MAX adds to the community feel and lets us creative types keep those artsy vibes flowing all night long.

The community offerings at Adobe MAX also include a place to have a headshot taken for all your social media profiles (that selfie in the bathroom has GOT to go) and the MAX Playground, where you can let your competitiveness all hang out while playing digital and analog games. If you still need more convincing, Adobe was kind enough to compile their “Top Ten Reasons to Attend” list for us. You can just scribble in “Joseph Gordon-Levitt” at the top.
