Zevrix Solutions announces the release of LinkOptimizer 4.0, a major new version of its workflow automation solution for Adobe InDesign. LinkOptimizer eliminates the excess image data of document links, performs essential image adjustments and converts various image formats, thereby significantly reducing the size of InDesign job and reducing output time and production costs.
LinkOptimizer automatically reduces the image resolution, scales and crops the images in Photoshop according to their dimensions in the InDesign document and the target resolution specified, and reimports them to InDesign at 100%. The software can also convert image colors, apply sharpening filters, merge layers, as well as run Photoshop Actions and convert image formats.
LinkOptimizer 4 can dramatically improve the workflow of service providers, printers, ad agencies and publishing houses by letting users achieve more with minimal resources:
