WARNING: Do not upgrade to QuickTime 7.1.3!!!
See the thread on the WARNING DOWNGRADED for more current information about this situation.
The most current version of QuickTime 7.1.3 is required if you want to purchase movies, tv shows, songs, etc from Apple’s iTunes.
If you do upgrade to that version of QT, you will lose the ability to import movies and sounds and other multimedia content into ID. You may also lose the ability to play SWF movies in PDF files.
The happens on both Macintosh and Windows platforms.
If you have already upgraded to 7.1.3, you can uninstall it on Windows and then reinstall a lower version.
Sadly, it is hardly easy to do the same on the Mac and I ended up having to reinstall my entire operating system on the Mac.
I don’t know what to suggest if you do want to download movies, etc.
