If you work for a small company (or by yourself), you might take for granted the ability to install Adobe apps and access stock art, fonts, and plugins whenever you wish. But it’s not like that for everyone.

I remember well the days of working for a large company where our IT department allowed us to use only “safe” (old) versions of the apps. We often felt the frustration of lagging two versions behind the cutting edge.

I made it my mission to improve that situation. As a trusted member of the staff, I was allowed to install and experiment with the latest tools and to have a voice in when they were released to the entire group.

As communication between IT and the design department improved, newer tools started arriving on our desktops a lot sooner.

It’s my hope that this month’s feature article by Kevin Stohlmeyer on the Adobe Admin Console will shed some light on how Creative Cloud apps are managed in large organizations and help others build that same kind of trust and results.

Next up, Steve Caplin has all the details of what’s new in the August 2026 release of Photoshop, including its new AI-Assisted mode that may make you wonder about Adobe’s vision for the future of Photoshop.

Myra Ferguson is back with another article in her series on Premiere. This time, she shows how to add captions to your videos, which is great for your audience and your SEO goals.

The CreativePro website is home to thousands of valuable resources for InDesign users. But for folks who work on long documents, the Peter Kahrel Script Repository might be the most indispensable of all. And now, it’s easier than ever to find and download these scripts.

Our latest podcast features a conversation between Colleen Gratzer and Chad Chelius on making accessibility a fundamental part of your design process.
