Members-Only Video: Using the Built-in Recording Tools in PowerPoint

In this video, Nolan Haims shows how to record your PowerPoint presentation so it can be played back later with video narration using the Cameo feature. He also covers the differences between Mac and PC versions of PowerPoint.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Use the Record feature
  • Set timing and transitions
  • Place a video of yourself speaking on the slide with the Cameo feature
  • Understand webcam requirements for Cameo
  • Find the recording tools if they’re hidden
  • Use Presenter view and Teleprompter view
  • Use the Laser pointer, Pen tool, and Highlighter
  • Avoid audio problems during slide transitions
  • Make edits to your recording and rerecord to fix errors
  • Ensure the Cameo video doesn’t interfere with the presentation of your slide content
  • Use BrightSlide MultiPainter to standardize the size, position, and format of the videos on each slide
  • Save the recorded presentation as a video or a PowerPoint show file (.PPSX)
