I am sure that this is simple but I can’t find anything. I need to kern numbers. I have a grep that will superscript my $ and pennies in a price but when the number 1 is in the price, I need to kern -50 between 1 and the next number since the gap is too large. I also have to kern 25 between 7 and a superscript number since the 2 numbers are too close together. Is there a grep that I can use to have this happen?

I assume the prices are stacked so you need to use tabular figures? If not, using proportional lining figures would solve the problem, right?

No, actually, I am setting a full page ad of sale prices. I have my paragraph style and character styles set so that I automatically go from the Brand, to the flavor, to the price and then to the bottle size. I would love to not have to go back every time that I type $17.79 to change the kerning between the 1 and the 7 and the 7 and the 7 and the 7 and the 9.
