Free Vintage Artwork
Recently, I wrote about a great source of free content, The Public Domain Review, where you can download free images, text, audio, and video for your projects.
Here’s another nifty site where you can find public domain artwork in high resolution raster and vector format: OldBookIllustrations.com offers galleries of images in several categories that you can browse and download for any use. There are also descriptions of the books the illustrations were scanned from, and the illustrators and engravers who created the artwork. Plus, you can order cards and posters of some of the images.
