MetaCommunications launched Workgroups.com, the new project collaboration and workflow management site for teams, businesses, and organizations across advertising, marketing, creative design, packaging and prepress organizations. The new site offers subscription-based access to Workgroups 2010 Online, the hosted version of MetaCommunications’ flagship Workgroups 2010 suite containing integrated tools for workflow management, document management, document review and approval, and financial productivity management.
“Now with Workgroups 2010 Online and the Workgroups.com website, teams have the option to purchase the Workgroups 2010 suite as a hosted subscription service and at prices starting as low as $39/user per month. Because it’s a service, there’s no software to install or maintain,” said Robert T. Long, Executive Vice President for MetaCommunications. “The demand is so strong that prospective customers were finding the beta site and signing up before it was even announced.”??
Starting today, users can purchase a subscription to the Workgroups 2010 Online suite hosted through Workgroups.com starting at $39 per user, per month (plus server fee). Once subscribed, teams work from the Workgroups.com site using a combination of browser-based clients and desktop client applications. “Whether you use an iPhone, a web browser, or a client integrated with your Mac OS X Snow Leopard or Windows 7 desktop, Workgroups.com brings your teams together on their projects from any place with an internet connection,” said Mr. Long.
The Workgroups.com site provides online access to the Workgroups 2010 suite and is at the center of MetaCommunications’ strategy for providing easy and ubiquitous access to powerful process automation, project management, and collaboration tools for all creative/design industries.

Workgroups 2010 Online is available immediately through the Workgroups.com website. New systems are priced affordably and start at $39 per user per month plus server fees. Customers may sign up for service on the Workgroups.com website.
