Where to Find Great InDesign Templates, Part 1
A Small But Excellent Collection
A small but high-quality collection of templates, Stock InDesign is an excellent resource with a good blend of free and premium templates. Note that some “free” templates require payment with a tweet. As you can see in Figure 4, the templates are of excellent quality and often include Photoshop PSD and Illustrator AI/AIT templates in addition to the INDD, INDT, or IDML templates. Prices for premium themes are reasonable at around $15, and Stock InDesign offers something unique among such sites: you can download a free sample or preview of many of its premium templates to try out live in InDesign before making your purchase decision. That option alone makes Stock InDesign a valuable resource because there’s only so much information that can be gleaned from screenshots and thumbnails, now matter how good they are. Only until you get into the InDesign document itself can you really examine in structure and content to determine if it’s right for your project.
