Vintage Print Magazine Covers

Print magazine has been in business since 1940, showcasing creative excellence in many design fields, from books and branding, to street art and environmental design. And with their 75th anniversary coming up, they’ve decided to offer a glimpse back into their archives of vintage covers. Head over to printmag.com and check out some of the Brilliant Covers of the ’50s. It’s fascinating to see the evolution of the covers over the decade from very safe and static to open and experimental. Clearly, somebody was listening to jazz.

And don’t miss Covering Print Magazine 1940–1953, with even more covers and historical info from the magazine’s early years.
