MemberAll the end notes need to be at the back of the book. I just added some info – maybe I wasn’t clear enough before.
Rivkah Lewis
MemberOne more thing –
In addition to the chapter number and name above the endnotes and the text precedeing the note, he wants the number to be not the number of the endnote but rather the page number.I hope that was clear.

MemberThanks so much!

Very minimal Hebrew, but some.An .rtf file removes formating, does it not?
In any case, it crashed ID as well :(I tried dragging it in and that didn’t work either.
I rtied placing an rtf in a blank new file, that crashed as well.

MemberI must be missing something, because I don’t get it.
Here’s a link to one of the pages:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/anwiyjbj81dgr60/Screenshot%202022-10-27%20114349.png?dl=0The title on top is an English par style with a character style for the Hebrew.
So for the footer, which you can see is picking up the Hebrew but not the English, I made a par style with a nested char style (through one “-“).
But its not working…Rivkah Lewis
MemberI did that with a nested style but it didn’t work.

MemberJust to clarify, I work with dual language projects a lot. And these are the back pages of a 200+pg book and so far everything has been OK.
So I have my par and char styles set up correctly and everything has been OK until now.I think I’ve worked it out for this time. It would just be nice to understand better why this happens to have it run more smoothly in the future. But I imagine it was an input from Word issue.

MemberBut it still doesn’t seem that there is any quick fix – meaning the pages will have to be gone through and checked for flipped text (it’s going to be proofed anyway, but I don’t want to send a messy file).
Rivkah Lewis
MemberSo what you are saying is whomever typed this up in Word didn’t switch something properly?
As you can see on the screenshot, most lines are fine. Some are not.Any easy fixes?

MemberNot yet – I’ll let you know when its for sale :)

MemberGreat video!
I shared the 3 suggested with my design students today – I love how ID has so many ways to get to the desired results.
Certainly part of my choice was due to the fact that there was a lack of pattern in the text because of the different kinds of jokes.
