Petar PetrenkoParticipantNo problem. Any time. :)
Petar PetrenkoParticipantPut a circle (any color) over the square, select them and substract them (Object > Pathfinder > Substract)
Petar PetrenkoParticipantDo you have some cell style(s) applied in the table? They override table styles as character styles override paragraph styles.

Petar PetrenkoParticipantHi Anne-Marie,
I’m gled helping you. I too learn something new almost everyday by reading books about typography, design, following forums (like this one)…
BTW, I remove styles only when a customer ask for the source at the end of the job (not politely) and it was not part of the contract.
Petar PetrenkoParticipantThank you, David.
Petar PetrenkoParticipantHi Brad,
my opinion is that you can solve this only by using GREP. You can foind on Facebook a froup named “The Treasures of GREP” where you can ask the members to help you solve the problem.
Petar PetrenkoParticipantSorry if I posted more times the same reply, but when I hit the “Submit” button I can’t see my answer.

Petar PetrenkoParticipantNo, Anne-Marie, you are wrong. Please, follow these steps:
1. Select all paragraph styles;
2. Click on the Recycle bin to delete them;
3. Choose “Apply to All”;
4. In “and replace with:” choose “No paragrapgh style.Now you will get “Preserve formating”.
Petar PetrenkoParticipantThank you, Steve.

Petar PetrenkoParticipantI ususally use these values:
Right indent 12 mm
Last line indent -12 mmDecember 14, 2021 at 6:59 am in reply to: Getting rid of a text style that’s used somewhere you can’t find #14351801
Petar PetrenkoParticipantNot until now. I always do that after importing text and then applying styles from start to the end.
December 13, 2021 at 1:00 am in reply to: Getting rid of a text style that’s used somewhere you can’t find #14351736
Petar PetrenkoParticipantI always delete all styles that are not defined by me using “Preserve Style Formating”.
Petar PetrenkoParticipantHave you looked up into “Cell styles > Strokes and Fills”?
Petar PetrenkoParticipantHave you tried to save the Word file as RTF?
November 30, 2021 at 10:35 pm in reply to: How do you apply an alternative number 1 in a font automatically #14351192
Petar PetrenkoParticipantLook for “OpenType features > Figure Style” in you paragraph style and choose “Tabular Lining”.
