ParticipantOk, thanks – but it is not working.
I my paragraf Style, under “grep Style”, I choose my caracter style after “Apply style”, and in the line below, “To text: .. what do I write? If i write “^Price.+” nothing happens. Do i miss anything?
How do i tell, that the whole paragraf, starting with “Price” should be applyed with my Character Style, choosen i the top line?Dos’nt make sense to me ???

ParticipantHow do i do that?? I can’t apply a Pararagraf Style, only Character style – and how do i write the grep?
I don’t want to search for it in “find/change”, but use it inside a paragraf style .. ?

ParticipantSearch for “code2” and replace with “code1xxxx”
Then search for “code 1” and replace with “code2”
And then search for “code1xxxx” and replce with “code1”Voila: Lines switched!

ParticipantYou have to make 2 seperate tables on the masterpage. One with the similar text, and one that changes. Then you only release the one you put the name ect. in.

ParticipantNo gert, you can’t do it that way. Only way is to place the character in a box and rotate that.

ParticipantOn a high-end Xerox printer you can do Imposition – and there place the number of pages you want :o) Do it there, not i InDesign e.c.

ParticipantExport it as a pdf instead – that is much easier, and you can control it better. Then open the pdf in Illustrator. A pdf is infact a .ai file in disguise :o)

ParticipantUniversal Type Manager/Client is the best, most stabile and the easiest way to handle fonts. We have used Suitcase, Font Explorer and now UT, and UTM is clearly the bst of them.

ParticipantNo, if the same file (same file, same location) is placed multiple times, they appear as a group in the links-panel. Simply mark the group, and replace dem all in one single moove.
Make sure that the file you replace with, has the same size – then you can update everything without doing more :o)Niels JÌürgen Pedersen
Participant@Dirk: That way you have to apply that paragraf style on every single page manually – that was not what the answer was about :o)

ParticipantSimply place a textbox below the text box with the text, which only contains some spacing-caracters, with a paragrafstyle with a paragraf rule. The underlying text box should be same size as the text box with the text i when it is largest, and then make sure that the text box have text wrap appyied to it. Then the text box will push the text with the rule up and down, depending on how large your text box is.

ParticipantMark the image with the white handtool, go to “Objects” – “Fitting” and choose “Fit Content propertionally” – then the image will schrink to fit the box.

ParticipantDwayne – i dont get your point – TOC is very timesaving? By using InDesigns many features, you save a lot of time. The book-feature makes InDesign much faster, because ID don’t have to render all 600 pages, but only 100 or so. TOC works on a book also. So if time spent is the main issue – USE InDesigns features!

ParticipantIf you place your textframe on a independent layer, and lock the other layers, then you can go to the pages-panel, and select alle pages and “Unlock all masterpage items”. Then all your text frames, on all pages will be unlocked, but everything else will still be locked to your masterpage.
