I am relatively new to InDesign. Worked with PageMaker a lot. In InDesign I have created a catalog with 8.5×11 pages. I have learned how to print as an 8.5×11 booklet and also as a booklet that is 5.5×7. In learning how to shrink for the smaller version I also know how to set any size I desire. The Thought is create a pocket size version. I can create the size but this wastes a lot of paper and requires a lot of cutting. Is there a way to print 2 copies of the booklet on one set of pages? Still will need all the cutting. We self print on a high end Xerox machine.

I hope I have explained what I am trying to do correctly.

On a high-end Xerox printer you can do Imposition – and there place the number of pages you want :o) Do it there, not i InDesign e.c.

You should invest in an imposition program, Quite Imposing is a plugin for Acrobat that allows you to do this sort of thing.

I guess my question is worded incorrectly.

I have done the page imposition correctly. What I would like to do is shrink the booklet further and print 2 copies on the same sheet of paper. If I shrink to pocket size I waste so much paper. A single sheet of 8.5×11 paper has enough room to 2 copies on a single page.

I hope I have explained my goals better this time.
