I’m not sure that I understand you.
The file originally had a black text that was comprised of CMYK mixture. We dont want that. We want the text to be 100% black, so we made the CMY=0 and the K=100 for the text.
Is there any other way to reach my goal, without causing the black knockout on the other channels?
Also, if there is white on the other channels where the text is, will this cause problems at print if the plates aren’t aligned?
To answer your questions: In this project, there is a team working on the images, and then they are placed by someone else in INdesign.
Yes the images are in CMYK.
