MemberMaybe I’m misunderstanding your question, but in the footnote options you can set the footnote number to start again on every new page.
Dieter Stockert
MemberDoes this occur already when you select the object or just when you move it?

MemberNicole is right. That’s not more action than my suggestion, but you can do more with it.

MemberJust an idea: If you have headers that are filled automatically, they can depend on text with a certain character inside a paragraph. You can apply this character stye to just those words that you want to appear in your table of content. And then you can build your table of content with the header paragraph style. (You could also place a text frame with the respective outside n the slug area.)

MemberDid you check that MARCONATO is not in small letters and only looks like capital letters because of a character style?

MemberYou can try another version of Garamond from Adobe’s Typekit. Or you could change the text to paths.
Dieter Stockert
MemberYou can do that with a character style and the underlining options.

MemberI found this article in the web: High ASCII Characters Are Not Printed in a QR Code Barcode
(https://help.loftware.com/display/LPSKB/High+ASCII+Characters+Are+Not+Printed+in+a+QR+Code+Barcode)
But I don’t know if this can help. Maybe InDesign treats the special characters in a different way.November 5, 2018 at 8:18 am in reply to: Need help with spreads/pages – exporting to single pages pdf #111318Dieter Stockert
MemberYou are sure that your spread is made with facing pages?

MemberAnother idea: You could convert the numbering into text: https://creativepro.com/convert-numbering-to-text-in-indesign.php

MemberI have no experience with ebook, but what happens if you remove the dot in the numbered list settings of the paragraph style in InDesign?

MemberYou can do that with GREP within a paragraph style. Make a new character style and choose the stylistic set you want to apply. Then you can nest this character style into your paragraph style. If you want the alternate character only for the e, just type an e into the field. And you can do this for every character you want.
